Extraverts rarely understand introverts. Extroverts, convinced they are the norm, constantly pressure introverts to get out there and mingle, "come out of your shell, tell people about yourself, and learn to network." I don't see a solution to that other than learning to say no in an American culture that screams at you to say yes. Someone told me, "No is a complete sentence." As an introvert, I take refuge in that.
